Description

We are looking for a CAD/CAM programmer, who can able to translates engineering drawings and 3D models into precise instructions (G-code) for CNC machines. Generally responsible in selecting cutting tools, optimize tool paths, and verify simulations to ensure efficient, high-precision, and cost-effective manufacturing of parts

Responsibilities

  • Responsible to generate, edit, and optimize CNC machine programs using CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks, NX, Autodesk Fusion 360). Run simulation tests before production to prevent errors
  • Analyze complex engineering drawings, 3D models, and blueprints, strictly applying GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) standards
  • Ability to determine the optimal machining sequence, cutting parameters (feeds, speeds), and tooling based on the raw material (metals, plastics, composites)
  • Responsible in design custom jigs, fixtures, and setups to secure the material during the machining process
  • Collaborate with machinists, production & quality teams to troubleshoot machining issues, reduce cycle times, and continuously improve efficiency plus product quality
  • Ensure manufactured components meet strict tolerance and surface finish specifications.
  • Any relevant task required by Production manager

Requirements

  • Minimum diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related vocational/technical certification
  • Proficiency in industry-standard CAD/CAM software
  • Deep understanding of machining principles (milling, turning, multi-axis operations), cutting tool properties, and machine setup
  • Demonstrable leadership abilities
  • Solid communication skills
